Oak Skirting Boards

Ok, you got the dosh to go out and buy oak skirting boards and the like ... but, they have a tendency to warp. If they ahve, then you get air leaks. The easiest fix for this is to apply your air barrier protection prior to the skirting boards being applied. For this, you can use foam, plaster, or good old silicone. Just make a tight seal out of the floorboards and the plaster prior, then attach the skirting boards to the wall.
