Well, now that we are not going to have to have any HIPs for sales, I have updated the checklist for site development to reflect that. Can't say that I really mind. We still are committed to reducing our carbon emmisions and the HIP had nothing to do with that, it was just a way of ensuring that the sale of your home could go smoother. Some say it worked, most said it was a pain in the backside and an extra cost. i would have to agree with both sides on that argument.
SAPs are still required though, so make sure that you don't get caught out and miss this vital element of getting signoff on your build.
